We are seeking an experienced Draftsman specialized in Fire Detection & Alarm Systems (FDAS), CCTV Surveillance Systems, and Public Address (PA) Systems. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate, compliant, and detailed engineering drawings for industrial, commercial, and infrastructure projects, in coordination with design engineers, consultants, and site teams.
1. Design & Drafting
Prepare GA drawings, layout drawings, single-line diagrams (SLD), wiring diagrams, loop drawings, riser diagrams, and as-built drawings for: Fire Detection & Alarm Systems (Addressable & Conventional) CCTV Surveillance Systems Public Address / General Alarm (PA/GA) Systems Develop shop drawings based on approved BOQ, technical specifications, and project standards. Modify drawings based on consultant/client comments and site conditions.
2. Standards & Compliance
Ensure drawings comply with relevant standards such as: NFPA, IS Codes, NBC, EN54 Project-specific and OEM guidelines Maintain proper symbol legends, cable schedules, device addressing, and labelling.
3. Coordination & Support
Coordinate with design engineers, project managers, site engineers, and consultants for technical clarifications. Assist the engineering team during technical submittals, pre-bid drawings, and approval stages. Provide drawing support for tendering, execution, and handover phases.
4. Site & As-Built Documentation
Incorporate site modifications into drawings and prepare final as-built documentation. Support site teams with installation drawings and cable routing details
Proficient in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage. Strong understanding of: Fire alarm device placement, loop philosophy, and zoning CCTV camera coverage, FOV concepts, and network layouts PA speaker layout, amplifier zoning, and system architecture Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, architectural layouts, and specifications. Good documentation, revision control, and drawing management skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering Relevant professional experience in ELV / Life Safety Systems drafting
Experience in industrial projects such as Oil & Gas, Power Plants, Steel Plants, Data Centers, or large commercial buildings. Familiarity with OEMs such as Honeywell, Notifier, Esser, Siemens, Edwards, Bosch, Hikvision, Axis, TOA, Bosch PA systems, Armtel etc
Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
