Role Summary
We are seeking a highly accomplished and technically sound Senior Python Architect (7+ Years) on behalf of our premier technology client. In this critical architectural role, you will take full technical ownership of designing, building, and scaling high-performance backend applications on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You will serve as the core authority for application layout choices, REST API design, and cloud database optimization, while effortlessly debugging complex technical issues and modifying legacy enterprise codebases with minimal guidance.
Key Responsibilities
- System & Application Architecture: Lead the architectural design and implementation of highly scalable, secure, and maintainable backend services utilizing Python and native AWS ecosystems.
- API Engineering: Design, document, and deploy robust, high-throughput REST APIs ensuring secure and optimized service-to-service communication.
- Cloud Strategy & Infrastructure: Evaluate, select, and configure business-critical AWS services to meet security, availability, and strict performance SLAs.
- Database & Data Layer Design: Design schemas and optimize performance metrics for both relational and non-relational database structures.
- Code Governance & Legacy Engineering: Audit, read, and independently refactor complex legacy codebases, implementing upgrades with light strategic guidance.
- Linux Automation: Author highly efficient shell scripts and handle standard Linux commands to manage OS environments and automated processing tasks.
- Collaboration & Quality: Establish clean version control standards and review code structures to maintain peak software durability.
Mandatory Selection Criteria (Applications without these will not be considered):
- Overall Experience: Minimum 7+ years of hands-on software development experience.
- Specialized Core Track: At least 4+ recent, continuous years operating heavily within Python development along with deep, production-level knowledge of AWS.
- AWS Core Stack Fluency: Deep conceptual and hands-on understanding of essential AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda (Serverless), IAM, CloudWatch, and container services like ECS or ECR.
- Interface Mastery: Advanced proficiency in designing, writing, and optimizing REST APIs.
- Database Systems: Strong technical understanding of databases, specifically PostgreSQL, MySQL, or DynamoDB.
- Version Control: Absolute comfort operating across distributed version systems such as Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or GitLab.
- Diagnostic Capabilities: Exceptional debugging and analytical skills paired with elite verbal and written communication.
Preferred Skills & Cloud DevOps Competencies:
- Containerization: Direct experience containerizing software packages utilizing Docker.
- CI/CD Automation: Hands-on exposure to cloud delivery tools like AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Basic structural knowledge of provisioning tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹2,800,000.00 per year
