Crossbar Labs is an early stage AI company building egocentric video datasets to train AI and robotics models. We partner with skilled workers like cooks and craftspeople, using head-mounted cameras to capture real-world hand manipulation data for physical AI.
We are looking for a hands on Field Operations Executive to run the daily rhythm of our field work on the ground. This is a field based role — you will spend most of the day out and about, moving between nearby partner sites on your own two wheeler within a 4 to 5 km radius.
Responsibilities
- Visit partner sites each morning to set up and fit our recording equipment for the day.
- Support smooth operation on site through the day and resolve minor issues as they come up.
- Collect equipment at the end of each shift and upload the day's data to our systems.
- Keep simple daily records and flag anything that needs attention.
- Serve as the on ground point of contact between Crossbar Labs and our partners.
Requirements
Comfortable spending most of the day out in the field and moving between nearby sites on a two wheeler.
Dependable and punctual, with a sense of ownership over getting the daily routine done without needing to be followed up with.
Comfortable using a smartphone and basic apps for uploads and simple record keeping, and quick to pick up new tools.
