About the Role
Our video production and advertising agency is looking for a versatile Videographer/Cameraman to join our production team. You will be responsible for capturing high-quality cinematic footage across various formats—ranging from socio-political interviews and documentaries to educational content and entertainment-driven commercials.
We need a visual storyteller who can handle the technicalities of a shoot while maintaining a creative edge. Whether it’s a controlled studio environment or a fast-paced field shoot, you should be able to deliver clean, professional visuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate professional camera equipment, including DSLRs, Mirrorless, or Cinema cameras.
- Set up lighting and audio equipment for indoor and outdoor shoots.
- Collaborate with the director and creative team to execute the visual style of the project.
- Conduct interviews and "run-and-gun" style shoots for socio-political content.
- Ensure all raw footage is backed up and organized for the editing team.
- Maintain and care for all production equipment.
Requirements & Skills
- Equipment Ownership: We are looking for candidates who own and maintain their own professional camera kit (Camera body, lenses, and basic stabilizers/tripods).
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in manual camera settings, framing, composition, and basic three-point lighting.
- Communication & Education: A degree or diploma (e.g., Visual Communication, Film Technology) is preferred. We need someone who can grasp complex briefs and communicate effectively with the crew and subjects.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to handle long shoot days and move equipment as needed.
- Portfolio: A link to a showreel or previous work is mandatory.
