Role Overview
As part of the Mahindra Auto Accessories team, the Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Business Development & Licensing will lead new channel development, strategic partnerships, and licensing initiatives for Accessories Business merchandise. This role is critical in expanding market reach, unlocking new revenue streams, and strengthening Mahindra’s brand presence across diverse channels. The incumbent will drive growth through B2B alliances, licensing opportunities, and innovative distribution strategies aligned with the brand’s vision.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Channel Expansion
Lead new channel development strategies to expand reach for Accessories Business merchandise.
Identify and onboard new distribution channels, B2B clients, and partners.
Licensing & Partnerships
Develop and execute licensing strategy to monetize brand equity.
Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with licensees and strategic partners.
Revenue Growth & Commercial Performance
Drive revenue growth from new channels and licensing agreements.
Track performance metrics and optimize channel effectiveness for profitability.
Stakeholder & Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with key partners, distributors, and licensees.
Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, and product teams.
Team Leadership
Manage and mentor team and foster a results-driven and collaborative team environment.
