Job Title: Internal Audit Executive*
*Summary:*
We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit Executive to join our team in Pointe-Noire, Brazzaville (Congo), Ivory Coast, Angola, Bangui , Cameroon, Mali, Burkina Faso, Benin, Togo, . The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting internal audits, stock taking, managing debtors, overseeing fixed asset management, and ensuring efficient cash flow management. This is a full-time position that requires on-site work.
*Key Responsibilities:*
1. Conduct internal audits to assess financial and operational processes.
2. Perform stock taking and maintain accurate inventory records.
3. Manage debtors and ensure timely collections.
4. Oversee fixed asset management and depreciation calculations.
5. Monitor and optimize cash flow management processes.
6. Utilize Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Detailed Job Description
1. Physical Stock Verification
o Conducting on-site counting and validation of inventory items.
o Reconciling physical counts with system records and identifying discrepancies.
2. Physical Debtors Verification
o Verifying the existence and accuracy of debtor balances through physical confirmation and supporting documentation.
o Reviewing outstanding balances and identifying any irregularities.
3. Physical Cash Verification
o Performing cash counts at designated locations where cash transactions are involved.
o Cross-check counted cash with cash books and system balances.
o Confirming cash-on-hand against recorded balances and reviewing cash handling controls.
4. Physical Fixed Asset Verification
o Inspecting and validating the existence, condition, and location of fixed assets.
o Reconciling asset registers with actual physical assets.
5. Mapping & Tagging of IT Equipment and Peripherals
o Identifying, mapping, and tagging all IT hardware and peripheral devices.
o Updating asset records to ensure traceability and accurate asset tracking.
6. Processes that affect the afore mentioned scope will be subject to review.
7. Documentaion Assurance
*Required Skills and Qualifications:*
1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CA - Inter, MCOM, MBA in Finance.
2. 3-5 years of experience in internal audit and financial management.
3. Proficiency in internal audit practices and procedures.
4. Strong knowledge of stock taking, debtors management, and fixed asset accounting.
5. Ability to effectively manage cash flow and financial reporting.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
7. Excellent communication and analytical skills.
