Position: Line Quality Controller (Line QC)
Location: Bengaluru – Peenya Industrial Area
Industry: Knits Garment Manufacturing
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-line quality inspections during sewing operations.
- Monitor garment quality at each operation and identify defects at the earliest stage.
- Ensure operators follow approved samples, specifications, measurements, and workmanship standards.
- Check critical operations, measurements, stitch quality, and appearance standards.
- Maintain daily defect records and report quality issues to the Quality Incharge and Production Supervisors.
- Follow up on corrective actions and verify effectiveness.
- Assist in reducing alterations, rework, and rejection levels.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process.
- Support end-line and final inspection activities whenever required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as Line QC in a garment manufacturing unit.
- Good understanding of sewing operations, garment defects, measurements, and quality requirements.
- Experience in knitwear garments preferred.
- Ability to read measurement charts, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Good observation skills and attention to detail.
