Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Garment Merchandiser with 1 year of experience in the apparel industry. The ideal candidate will coordinate with buyers, suppliers, and production teams to ensure orders are executed efficiently, from order confirmation through shipment, while meeting quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle garment orders from order confirmation to final shipment.
- Coordinate with buyers, production, sourcing, quality, and logistics teams.
- Follow up on fabric, trims, and accessories to ensure timely availability.
- Prepare and maintain order sheets, T&A (Time and Action) calendars, and merchandising reports.
- Monitor production progress and ensure on-time delivery.
- Communicate with buyers regarding order status, approvals, and sample submissions.
- Coordinate sample development and approval processes.
- Ensure products meet buyer specifications and quality standards.
- Resolve production or sourcing issues by coordinating with internal teams and vendors.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to orders, approvals, and shipments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Textile, Fashion, Apparel, or a related field.
- 1 year of experience as a Garment Merchandiser in the apparel industry.
- Knowledge of garment manufacturing, fabrics, trims, production processes, and merchandising.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with ERP systems is an added advantage.
- Ability to manage multiple orders and work under tight deadlines.

- Experience working with garment exporters or buying houses in Tiruppur.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
