Rays Power Infra is seeking an experienced Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead and oversee the sourcing activities, supplier relationships, and procurement strategies for the company's solar energy projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management within the renewable energy or construction industry.
*Responsibilities:*
- Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives for solar project materials and services.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers/vendors ensuring high-quality and cost-effective procurement.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing, quality, and delivery schedules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and ensure timely sourcing of materials.
- Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement improvements to optimize the supply chain.
- Analyze market trends, conduct cost analysis, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process enhancements.
- Maintain documentation of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in strategic sourcing and procurement.
*Qualifications:*
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- X+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, specifically within the renewable energy or construction industry.
- Proven track record in negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, and driving cost-saving initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and make informed decisions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software/tools and MS Office Suite.
