Job Overview:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing marketing strategies for corporate events, conferences, awards, webinars, roundtables and other related activities. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of event management and marketing principles, capable of driving brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation through successful event marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy & Planning:
Develop and implement the overall marketing strategy for events, including conferences, awards, webinars, roundtables and corporate functions.
Collaborate with internal teams to align event goals with business objectives and brand messaging.
Identify target audiences and tailor event marketing strategies to engage and attract them.
Promotion:
Create and manage event marketing campaigns across various channels including email, social media, website, and paid advertising.
Design and produce promotional materials such as brochures, banners, and digital content.
Develop partnerships and sponsorship opportunities to enhance event reach and impact.
Ensure brand consistency and high-quality execution of all event-related materials and experiences.
Analysis:
Measure and report on the effectiveness of event marketing campaigns, including lead generation, attendee engagement, and RoI.
Gather and analyze attendee feedback to inform future event planning and strategy.
Maintain relationships with attendees, partners, and sponsors post-event to foster ongoing engagement.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with the design, sales, product, and tele-calling teams to ensure seamless integration of event initiatives with broader company goals.
Coordinate with external agencies, designers, and contractors as needed to execute event plans.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
2 to 4 years of experience from event / media companies, with a proven track record of managing successful events.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in event management software, CRM tools, and digital marketing platforms.
Ability to travel as needed for events.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in B2B event marketing.
Knowledge of marketing automation tools (e.g., Zoho).
Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
