Job SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Desktop Support Engineer with 3+ years of experience to maintain, upgrade, and support our internal IT systems. You will act as the primary point of contact for end-users, handling L1/L2 troubleshooting, resolving technical issues, and ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. [1, 2, 3]Key Responsibilities
- IT Support: Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for on-site and remote employees. [1, 2]
- User Provisioning: Manage the onboarding/offboarding process by setting up, configuring, and deploying laptops, desktops, and peripherals. [1, 2, 3]
- OS & Software Deployment: Install, configure, and maintain Windows and macOS operating systems, alongside application suites (e.g., Microsoft 365, Antivirus). [1, 2]
- Ticketing & SLAs: Monitor and manage IT service requests within the [Insert Ticketing System, e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk] ticketing system, ensuring issues are resolved within defined SLAs. [1, 2]
- Asset Management: Track hardware and software inventories, managing license renewals and hardware upgrades. [1, 2]
- Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, step-by-step guides, and knowledge base articles for end-users. [1, 2]
- Network & Peripheral Support: Troubleshoot wired/wireless network issues, VPN connections, and printer/scanner configurations. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. [1]
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive hands-on experience in desktop support or a similar IT technical support role. [1]
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced troubleshooting knowledge of Windows and macOS platforms.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 Administration, and basic network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP). [1, 2, 3]
- Soft Skills: Strong customer service orientation, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users. [1, 2]
Pay: ₹28,822.60 - ₹39,194.55 per month
