Job Summary:
As an IT Business Development Intern at Dalisant Metrics, you will be the engine behind our lead generation and outreach strategy. You do not need years of corporate experience, but you must have a strong curiosity for technology, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building relationships. You will receive extensive training on B2B sales cycles, IT services, and digital prospecting tools.
Core Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Discover and research potential Healthcare, Education, B2B clients, tech startups, and enterprises that need digital and IT solutions.
- Cold Outreach: Initiate first-stage contact with prospective leads via email campaigns, cold calling, and professional networking platforms like LinkedIn.
- Database Management: Build, clean, and update the sales pipeline database using professional templates or beginner-friendly Excel.
- Meeting Coordination: Set up and schedule introductory business meetings and technical product demonstrations between prospective clients and our senior team.
- Market Research: Track emerging technology trends, industry demands, and competitor offerings to assist the management team in updating sales pitches.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: Final year students or recent graduates with a Bachelor's degree (B.Tech, BE, BCA, BSc IT, BBA, or MBA in Marketing/IT preferred).
- Tech Literacy: A basic understanding of IT jargon, software development cycles, cloud concepts, or data analysis is a strong advantage.
- Communication: Fluent verbal and written English communication skills; ability to draft clear, professional emails.
- Soft Skills: High coachability, a strong work ethic, resilience against rejection, and a desire to smash daily outreach targets.
- Availability: Ready to join immediately for a minimum duration of 4 to 6 months.
