Job Summary
The Building Supervisor is responsible for the overall supervision, maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and smooth day-to-day functioning of the building. The role involves coordinating with housekeeping, security, maintenance staff, vendors, and management to ensure the premises are maintained properly.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily operations and maintenance of the building.
- Monitor cleanliness and hygiene of common areas, corridors, washrooms, parking areas, and other facilities.
- Coordinate and supervise housekeeping, security, maintenance, and support staff.
- Inspect electrical, plumbing, water supply, lighting, lifts, AC systems, and other building facilities.
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate with technicians or external vendors for timely repairs.
- Maintain records of maintenance work, complaints, repairs, and service schedules.
- Ensure proper functioning of CCTV, fire safety equipment, emergency exits, and other safety systems.
- Monitor and report any damage, leakage, electrical issues, or safety hazards to management.
- Supervise contractors and service providers working within the premises.
- Ensure building rules and safety procedures are followed by staff, tenants, visitors, and vendors.
- Handle and resolve routine building-related complaints and escalate major issues to management.
- Monitor the usage of electricity, water, and other utilities and report unusual consumption.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning materials, maintenance supplies, and other building requirements.
- Ensure proper opening and closing of the premises as per management instructions.
- Assist management during emergencies and coordinate with relevant personnel when required.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in building, facility, property, or maintenance supervision.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, civil, and general building maintenance.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to supervise and manage support staff.
- Basic computer and record-keeping skills.
- Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Responsible, punctual, disciplined, and trustworthy.
- Ability to handle emergencies and work under pressure.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
