Development of design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, etc.
- AutoCAD for development of project plans for certain project types that may include single line diagrams, schematics, P&ID’s, etc.
- Prepare and revise documentation in various project phases including site plans, diagrams, and details.
- Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure compatibility with the design intent.
- Provide review of shop drawings and submittals, responds to RFIs, prepares site observation reports, and performs other contract administration tasks.
- Development of job specific discipline specifications.
- Evaluation and selection of electrical systems and materials.
- Attend project coordination meetings with internal team members and/or external consultants.
- Participate in value engineering and basic cost estimating.
- Apply technical expertise to meet project requirements within project timeframes and budget.
- Foster existing client relationships and proactively pursues opportunities for new business.
- Thorough understanding of electrical and instrumentation engineering concepts and ability to effectively communicate ideas to others.
- Experience in the construction industry and/or in-depth knowledge of construction processes.
- Ability to manage individual projects and also be part of a project team with ability to participate and collaborate in project team setting.
- Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
- Solid understanding and knowledge of power distribution systems, lighting systems, and instrumentation and controls.
- Strong client communication and interpersonal skills.
- Recognizes when technical problems are developing and initiates appropriate corrective actions.
- Ability to check own work for accuracy and completeness and manage time to meet project budget and
schedule.
- Requires understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD and/or Revit or other applicable software.
- Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
- Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.
Education and Experience
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
