Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Visa Filing Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and submitting visa applications while ensuring accuracy and compliance with the latest immigration requirements. The candidate should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple applications efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and submit visa applications for various countries.
- Verify client documents for completeness, accuracy, and authenticity.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of visa rules, immigration policies, and documentation requirements.
- Coordinate with clients to collect required documents and provide application guidance.
- Track application progress and provide regular updates to clients.
- Liaise with embassies, consulates, visa application centers, and partner institutions when required.
- Maintain accurate records of client files and application statuses.
- Ensure timely submission of applications while meeting internal deadlines.
- Handle client queries professionally via phone, email, and in person.
- Assist in resolving documentation issues and application discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and company records.
- Support the team with administrative tasks related to visa processing.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferred).
- 3-4 years of experience in visa processing, immigration services, or a related administrative role.
- Strong knowledge of visa documentation and filing procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer applications.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple deadlines.
- Customer-focused with a professional and positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with study visas, tourist visas, work permits, or permanent residency applications.
- Familiarity with CRM systems or visa management software.
- Experience working with overseas education consultants or immigration firms.
