We are looking for a motivated and experienced Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in selecting suitable academic programs and support them through the admission process. The ideal candidate should have strong counselling, communication, and sales skills, with a minimum of 1 year of experience in academic counselling, education counselling, EdTech, or study abroad counselling.
Key responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding academic programs, career opportunities, and admissions.
- Understand students’ educational background and recommend appropriate courses.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls, follow up with leads, and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Explain course details, fees, scholarships, and the enrollment process.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in the CRM system.
- Achieve admission and revenue targets assigned by the management.
- Coordinate with the admissions and operations teams for a smooth enrollment process.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with interested candidates and provide timely updates.
- Participate in education fairs, seminars, webinars, and promotional events when required.

Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Master’s degree is an added advantage).
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Academic Counsellor, Education Counsellor, Admission Counsellor, Student Counsellor, or in an EdTech/education-related sales role.
- Fluency in English and Tamil is preferred.
