Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled IBM Maximo Developer with strong expertise in Maximo application development, customization, integrations, and support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing IBM Maximo solutions while ensuring system performance, scalability, and reliability. This role requires hands-on experience with Maximo technical components, Java development, integrations, reporting, deployment, and enterprise security frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, customize, and support IBM Maximo applications and solutions.
- Configure Maximo applications, workflows, escalations, domains, security groups, and automation scripts.
- Develop custom business logic using Java, Maximo Business Object (MBO) Framework, and Automation Scripts.
- Build and maintain integrations using Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), REST APIs, SOAP Web Services, XML, and JSON.
- Develop, customize, and optimize BIRT Reports based on business requirements.
- Deploy and support Maximo applications on IBM WebSphere Application Server.
- Configure and support authentication mechanisms including SAML-based Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Work with Oracle databases to develop queries, troubleshoot issues, and improve application performance.
- Participate in Maximo upgrades, migrations, patching, and release deployments.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in IBM Maximo Development and Customization.
- Strong knowledge of Maximo Asset Management (MAM).
- Experience with Java, Java SDK, and Maximo MBO Framework.
- Expertise in Automation Scripts, Workflows, Escalations, and Application Designer.
- Strong experience with Maximo Integration Framework (MIF).
- Good understanding of REST APIs, SOAP Services, XML, JSON, and Web Services integrations.
- Experience with Oracle Database and SQL development.
- Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server.
- Experience developing and supporting BIRT Reports.
- Knowledge of SAML Authentication and enterprise security configurations.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- IBM Maximo Certification.
- Experience with Maximo Application Suite (MAS).
- Exposure to cloud or containerized environments.
- Experience in upgrade, migration, and performance optimization projects.
- Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
