Junior Die Fitter
Job Summary
We are looking for a Junior Die Fitter to join our Tool Room team. The candidate will assist in fitting, assembling, finishing, and maintaining blanking dies used for sheet metal components with thickness ranging from 0.4 mm to 1.0 mm. The role is suitable for ITI / Diploma holders who are eager to learn precision die fitting and tool room operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in die fitting and assembly for blanking operations.
- Support senior die fitters in assembling die components such as punches, die blocks, guide pillars, and plates.
- Perform basic die finishing and polishing work.
- Assist in new die development and trial activities.
- Help in die maintenance, cleaning, and repair work.
- Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, and Dial Gauges under guidance.
- Read and understand basic engineering drawings.
- Ensure workplace cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
- Coordinate with EDM, Wire Cut, and Tool Room teams as required.
Required Qualifications
- ITI (Fitter) / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Tool & Die Making or equivalent qualification.
- 0–2 years of experience in Tool Room, Die Fitting, or Sheet Metal work.
- Freshers with relevant technical training may also apply.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month
