Solar Rooftop Sales Executive drives renewable energy adoption by generating leads, conducting site assessments, and closing deals for residential or commercial installations. They educate clients on ROI, net metering, and government subsidies while coordinating with technical teams to deliver customized solar solutions.
Core Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Build client pipelines through field visits, cold calling, dealer networks, and digital channels.
- Site Feasibility & Proposals: Conduct on-site inspections, evaluate roof space and energy usage, and prepare accurate technical and financial proposals.
- Customer Consultation: Explain system benefits, cost savings, payback periods, and available government or state subsidies.
- Sales Closure: Negotiate pricing, handle objections, and finalize contracts and payment terms.
- Coordination: Act as the liaison between the client and the engineering/installation teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Reporting: Log daily activities, client interactions, and deal statuses in CRM systems.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Typically 1 to 3 years of proven field sales experience, preferably in renewable energy, EPC, or consumer durables.
- Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of solar PV systems, inverters, net metering, and state-level renewable energy policies.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Logistics: A valid driver's license, two-wheeler/vehicle for extensive field travel, and willingness to meet clients on-site.
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
