Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Safety & Compliance Manager to oversee and manage compliance operations for our US logistics processes. The ideal candidate will ensure adherence to FMCSA regulations, maintain carrier compliance standards, manage safety documentation, and support operational excellence across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with FMCSA, DOT, and other US transportation regulations.
- Manage carrier onboarding, safety audits, and compliance verification processes.
- Review and maintain driver qualification files, insurance documents, MC authority, W9s, and related compliance records.
- Track safety scores, inspections, violations, and compliance performance of carriers.
- Handle freight fraud prevention, carrier monitoring, and risk assessment activities.
- Coordinate with brokers, dispatch teams, and operations to ensure compliant freight movement.
- Conduct internal compliance checks and prepare reports for management review.
- Manage incident reporting, claims documentation, and corrective action processes.
- Maintain updated knowledge of US logistics regulations and industry standards.
- Develop and implement SOPs related to safety and compliance operations.
- Train and guide team members on compliance procedures and best practices.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in US logistics safety & compliance.
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA, DOT regulations, carrier packets, and onboarding procedures.
- Experience with safety monitoring platforms and compliance tools.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and logistics software.
Preferred Skills
- Understanding of carrier risk analysis and fraud detection.
- Strong documentation and reporting abilities.
