Job Summary: The Purchase Executive for Fire Protection System is responsible for procuring materials and equipment required for the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems. This role involves identifying reliable suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products while maintaining cost-effectiveness. The Purchase Executive will collaborate with cross-functional teams and play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Management:Identify, assess, and select suppliers for fire protection system components, such as fire alarms, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers, and related equipment.
Evaluate supplier performance regularly to ensure adherence to quality, delivery, and cost standards.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers, including pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
Procurement:Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's fire protection system needs.
Place purchase orders and maintain accurate records of procurement transactions.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials as necessary to prevent shortages.
Quality Assurance:Ensure that all purchased materials and equipment meet safety and quality standards, including compliance with relevant regulations and certifications.
Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to conduct inspections and address any quality issues with suppliers.
Cost Management:Identify cost-saving opportunities through competitive bidding, supplier negotiations, and alternative sourcing strategies.
Track and report on procurement costs and budget compliance.
Vendor Relationships:Establish and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers to foster collaboration and resolve any issues promptly.
Stay informed about industry trends, supplier capabilities, and new product offerings.
Cross-functional Collaboration:Collaborate with the Engineering and Maintenance teams to understand technical requirements and specifications for fire protection systems.
Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely invoice processing.
Compliance:Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies in the procurement process.
Keep abreast of changes in regulations related to fire protection systems.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
