We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented Editorial Manager to execute written content across our auctions, exhibitions, digital platforms, and media communications. The ideal candidate is a strong editor and writer with a genuine interest in art, design, and culture, particularly within the Indian context.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and edit auction catalogue notes across art, jewellery, and design
- Conduct in-depth research to support catalogue entries and editorial content
- Research and source images for editorial content
- Develop exhibition descriptions, wall texts, and interpretive materials
- Handle press communications and respond to media queries
- Write, edit, and distribute newsletters and support marketing communications
- Script, storyboard, and produce video content for the website and social media platforms
- Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and style across all content
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and other stakeholders to meet deadlines and project goals
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Creative Writing, Art History, or a related field
- Excellent command of written English, with strong editing and proofreading skills
- Prior experience of 4 – 6 years in an editorial, content, or journalistic role
- Ability to write clearly and concisely while maintaining brand voice and editorial standards
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects independently
- Background in or knowledge of Indian art preferred
- Basic understanding of SEO is an advantage
