Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior SolidWorks Trainer to teach mechanical design — from part modeling to FEA simulation and GD&T — building both software proficiency and sound design engineering judgment in learners.
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver curriculum covering part modeling, assemblies, sheet metal, and surfacing in SolidWorks
- Teach FEA simulation, GD&T application, and PDM workflows
- Conduct hands-on design projects and review learner work
- Teach DFM/DFA principles with real manufacturing context
- Develop assessments and evaluate design accuracy and reasoning
Requirements
- 3+ years of mechanical design experience using SolidWorks; training/teaching experience preferred
- Strong command of GD&T, FEA simulation, and manufacturing-aware design
- Ability to explain design reasoning and tradeoffs clearly to learners
- Strong mentoring and presentation skills
