We provide high-performance lubrication solutions and advanced construction machinery to a wide range of industries including infrastructure, construction, steel, mining, cement, power, and manufacturing sectors. We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Professional to expand our market presence and drive sustainable business growth across Odisha.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities for Shell industrial lubricants and Putzmeister equipment across sectors such as construction, infrastructure, steel, power, cement, mining, ports, manufacturing, and heavy engineering.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with existing and prospective industrial and construction clients.
- Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and site demonstrations for Shell lubricant solutions and Putzmeister products/equipment.
- Achieve assigned sales targets through strategic planning, regular customer visits, lead generation, and market development activities.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable lubrication solutions and construction equipment based on operational and performance needs.
- Promote preventive maintenance practices and educate customers on machinery performance optimization.
- Collect and share market intelligence, competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer feedback to support business growth strategies.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, customer visit reports, sales reports, and pipeline updates regularly.
- Coordinate with technical, service, and support teams to ensure timely customer assistance and high customer satisfaction.
- Follow up on payment collections and ensure smooth commercial transactions with clients.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 2 to 3 years of direct sales experience in industrial products, construction equipment, or related sectors.
- Preferred Background: Experience in industrial lubricants, construction machinery, batching plants, concrete pumps, compressors, hydraulics, gearboxes, bearings, or industrial consumables/products.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial lubricant applications, construction equipment operations, preventive maintenance practices, and machinery performance requirements will be an added advantage.
- Location Experience: Must have prior working experience and market exposure in Odisha.
- Travel: Comfortable with extensive travel across Odisha for customer visits and business development activities.
- Skills: Strong sales, communication, negotiation, client relationship management, reporting, and presentation skills.
