Job Title: Multi-Cuisine Chef
We are seeking a skilled and creative Multi-Cuisine Chef who can prepare a wide variety of dishes across different cuisines such as Indian, Continental, Chinese, Italian, and more. The ideal candidate should have strong culinary expertise, passion for food, and the ability to maintain high standards of taste, presentation, and hygiene.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook dishes from multiple cuisines as per menu requirements
- Design and update menus based on seasonal ingredients and customer preferences
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of all dishes
- Supervise kitchen staff and coordinate daily kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and comply with food safety and hygiene standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Control food costs and minimize waste
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of food during service hours
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Multi-Cuisine Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines (e.g., Indian, Chinese, Continental, Italian)
- Excellent cooking, plating, and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Good leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts
Educational Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management (preferred)
- Relevant certifications in food safety or culinary training
Experience
- Experience in hotels, restaurants, or catering services preferred
