About the Role
At Toppersnotes, we are looking for a creative and detail-oriented *Illustrator* to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong artistic skills, imagination, and the ability to convert concepts into visually engaging illustrations for books. In this role, you'll bring stories to life through vibrant characters, playful worlds, and visuals that inspire curiosity in children. What You'll Do:
- Illustrate characters, scenes, and covers for children's books and learning products.
- Create sketches, storyboards, and final artwork based on briefs.
- Work with writers, editors, and designers to shape each book visually.
- Design artwork for books, activity kits, packaging, flashcards, and digital content.
- Adapt your style to suit different age groups (toddlers to middle-grade).
- Revise artwork based on feedback and deliver on time.
- Keep character design and brand look consistent across the series.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, or similar role.
- Strong portfolio showcasing illustration work (characters, scenes, digital art, etc.).
- Strong drawing, composition, color theory, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to adapt to different art styles (cartoon, realistic, modern, educational, etc.).
- Design illustrations for books, toys, games, educational products, packaging, and digital platforms.
- Revise artwork based on feedback while maintaining quality and timelines.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines efficiently.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in children's books, educational publishing, or print media.
- Knowledge of print production (CMYK, bleed, packaging).
What We're Looking For:
- 1–5 years of experience as an Illustrator/graphic designers (strong freshers welcome).
- A portfolio/designs with child-friendly illustration work
- Skilled in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Procreate, or CorelDRAW.
- Strong drawing, color, and storytelling skills.
- Comfortable working across different art styles.
- Good team player with attention to detail.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
