Ashoka Developers and Infrastructure is looking for a motivated Site Engineer – Civil to join our canal construction projects in Maharashtra.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on site experience in Canal Construction, particularly in Canal Section and Lining works. Candidates with road construction experience may also apply, provided they are willing to work primarily on canal projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at site.
- Execute and monitor Canal Section, Earthwork and Canal Lining works.
- Check levels, dimensions, slopes and alignment as per drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with survey, execution and subcontractor teams.
- Prepare and maintain daily progress and site records.
- Monitor manpower, materials and work progress.
- Ensure construction work is carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Carry out basic measurements and assist in quantity verification.
- Coordinate with the QC team and understand basic quality control procedures.
- Identify site issues and coordinate with senior engineers for resolution.
- Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working practices at site.
Required Skills
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- 1–2 years of relevant site experience.
- Preference will be given to candidates having Canal Construction experience.
- Knowledge of Canal Section and Lining work is preferred.
- Candidates with Road Construction experience may also apply.
- Basic knowledge of QC/QA procedures and construction quality checks.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Excel will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of civil construction drawings and measurements.
- Willingness to work at project sites across Maharashtra.
