1. Position Summary
The Assistant Manager Accounts, Finance & Corporate Affairs will be responsible for overseeing the company's financial health, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, and providing strategic financial inputs to support business development and sustainable growth.
2. Key Responsibilities
I. Accounts and Finance Management
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and report annual financial data, including Balance Sheets, Cash Flows, Profit & Loss (P&L), and Contingencies.
- Day-to-Day Operations: Handle daily Accounting and Finance functions.
- Ledger Management: Manage accounts payable and receivables.
- Banking & Funding: Liaise with banks and financial institutions for funding and other banking needs.
II. Financial Planning and Analysis
- Budgeting: Support the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) with accurate budgeting to keep track of sustainable development.
- Cost Control: Identify areas of cost cutting and improvement.
- Strategic Modelling: Perform financial and scenario modelling for all business development initiatives.
- Project Costing: Play a major role in providing inputs with respect to various project costing and analysis.
III. Corporate Affairs and Compliance
- Statutory Compliance: Take care of all secretarial compliance work as per the relevant laws.
- Taxation: Handle all direct and indirect taxation issues along with annual compliance.
- Legal Agreements: Facilitate all contractual agreements between clients and the company.
3. Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A professional qualification in Accounting or Finance.
- Experience: Proven experience in a managerial role overseeing both Finance/Accounting and Corporate/Secretarial Compliance.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and taxation laws as well as strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and accounting software (e.g., Tally).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanour.
- Organization: Proven ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively under pressure. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
