Production Manager – Food Manufacturing

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations at our food manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for managing production activities, ensuring product quality, improving operational efficiency, and leading production teams to achieve business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations and ensure timely completion of production schedules.
- Lead production supervisors and shop-floor employees to achieve operational goals.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and manufacturing quality.
- Coordinate with maintenance, procurement, quality assurance, and logistics teams.
- Monitor production performance and implement process improvements.
- Reduce production losses through effective planning and resource utilization.
- Ensure machinery is operating efficiently by coordinating preventive maintenance.
- Maintain production records and prepare daily and monthly operational reports.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food Technology, Food Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 8–15 years of experience in food manufacturing or factory operations.
- Hands-on experience managing production teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of food quality systems and manufacturing best practices.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Experience with ERP software or production management systems is an added advantage.
- Ability to communicate in Hindi is preferred.
Salary & Benefits
- Monthly Salary: ₹40,000 – ₹75,000
