Mandatory to work in rotational shifts 24*7 to ensure full-day support coverage of applications and data workflows
Role Overview:
We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to monitor and maintain applications
The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation of application, promptly identifying and resolving issues, performing root cause analysis, executing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and communicating effectively with stakeholders and escalation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor application, troubleshoot problems, analyzing system performance, and ensuring the smooth operation of applications
- Detect, triage failures, analyze problems, implement solutions, and enhance system performance
- Perform initial troubleshooting and apply defined remedial actions based on SOPs.
- Analyze root cause of recurring or complex issues and recommend long-term fixes or improvements.
- Communicate effectively with relevant teams — developers, platform, and business users — regarding job status, delays, and incidents.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition, Spring Boot, Angular and Investment Banking.
- Strong understanding of application performance monitoring tools.
- Experience with database management and SQL.
- Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and services.
- Ability to write and maintain technical documentation.
