QUALITY INSPECTOR – PLASTIC INJECTION MOULDING

Experience: 5 – 8 Years

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform in-process and final inspection of plastic injection moulded components
- Monitor production quality and ensure product specifications are maintained
- Identify injection moulding defects like Flash, Sink Mark, Short Mould, Warpage, Burn Mark, Flow Mark, etc.
- Inspect components using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, and other measuring instruments
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards
- Maintain inspection reports, rejection records, and quality documents
- Perform defect analysis and support corrective actions
- Coordinate with Production and Tool Room teams for quality improvement
- Ensure customer quality requirements are achieved
Required Skills:
Experience in Plastic Injection Moulding Quality Inspection
Knowledge of moulding process & plastic materials
Knowledge of 7 QC Tools
Knowledge in GD&T and Engineering Drawing
Good handling experience of measuring instruments
Problem-solving and analytical skills
Qualification:
Diploma / ITI / B.E (Mechanical / Production) preferred
