An Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor in Hospital Administration teaches students, conducts research, and manages academic duties in healthcare management.
Key Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Master’s degree in Hospital Administration (MHA), MBA in Healthcare Management, or Public Health from a recognized institution.
- Advanced Degree: A Ph.D. in Hospital Management, Healthcare Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred or mandatory by many universities.
- Experience: 0 to 5+ years of combined teaching, research, or practical healthcare industry experience in a hospital setting.
Core Roles and Responsibilities
- Teaching & Lecturing: Deliver engaging classes on healthcare operations, medical ethics, and hospital planning using modern digital tools.
- Student Mentorship: Guide student research projects, dissertations, and career paths in the medical sector.
- Industry Coordination: Organize hospital visits, field training, and student internships with healthcare providers.
- Research & Publication: Write and publish scholarly research papers in indexed academic journals.
- Department Administration: Help with departmental planning, student admissions, exams, and institutional accreditation processes.
