Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Piping Fitter to join our construction and maintenance team. You will layout, cut, thread, bend, and assemble metal and non-metal pipe systems for industrial or commercial applications. Your work ensures that high-pressure and standard fluid, gas, or steam networks operate safely and efficiently.Key Responsibilities
- Blueprint Reading: Review and interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, and specifications to plan installation sequences.
- Material Preparation: Measure, mark, cut, thread, and bend pipes using saws, threaders, torches, and specialized bending tools.
- Assembly & Installation: Join pipes using welding, soldering, brazing, threading, or cementing, and secure them using brackets and hangers.
- System Testing: Perform pressure, leak, and hydrostatic tests to verify system integrity and functionality.
- Maintenance & Repair: Inspect existing piping networks, diagnose malfunctions, and replace worn or damaged components.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to site safety guidelines and properly utilize personal protective equipment (PPE).
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a piping fitter in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in handling various pipe materials (carbon steel, stainless steel) and connection methods.
- Tool Proficiency: Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, cutting torches, and pipe threading machinery.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or kneel for extended periods, and work in confined spaces or at heights.
- Education: High school ITI or completion of a vocational/apprenticeship program in fitter trade.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
