General Responsibilities:
Ø Keeps all public areas such as restaurants and restrooms in a neat and clean condition.
Ø Public area attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests and must be pleasant, honest, friendly and should also be able to address guest requests and problems.
Ø Ensures compliance with the departmental BRISOP.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ø Maintain supplies and caddy before the start of every shift.
Ø Clean upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, and shampooing machine as and when required.
Ø Sweep, mop, and polish floors as per the requirement of the area.
Ø Dusts and polishes all metal surfaces.
Ø Empty trash bins at regular intervals.
Ø Report any maintenance jobs to the control desk immediately.
Ø Assist guests in public areas as and when required.
Ø Have good knowledge of all resort facilities, hours of operation, restaurants, and function rooms.
Ø Responsible for the upkeep of all the equipment which is in use i.e., vacuum cleaner, scrubbing machine.
Ø Responsible for maintaining a schedule for cleaning of areas.
Ø Responsible for spring cleaning of the area as per the schedule.
Ø Maintain and clean all washrooms as per schedule.
Ø Dust table lamps, furniture, and ledges so that areas look presentable at all times.
Ø Maintain all furniture, cushions, artwork as per look book and photographs available in the department.
Ø Responsible for achieving a score of 90% in audit for Public area upkeep and take necessary action for the shortcomings for standard compliance.
Ø Perform any other duties as assigned by Assistant Executive Housekeeper.
