Desktop Support and Workplace Services Scope Summary
The services include end-to-end desktop management and support, covering the maintenance of Standard Operating Environment (SOE) images, desktop OS planning and deployment for Windows, Linux, and Mac platforms, and installation of standard office productivity software. The team provides Level 1 desktop support, basic support for client-specific applications, email client configuration, printer setup, LAN connectivity troubleshooting, and desktop operating system support.
The scope also includes ensuring compliance with customer security and hardening standards, managing antivirus and patch deployments, backup administration using built-in tools, and preventing unauthorized software installations. Hardware-related issues are resolved directly or escalated to appropriate vendors as required.
In addition, the resource is responsible for IT asset lifecycle activities, including installation of new devices, relocation and reinstallation of existing systems, addition and configuration of hardware peripherals and standard software, as well as hardware and software modifications and upgrades in accordance with approved operating procedures and customer standards.
Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹250,000.00 per month
