Job Summary:
Responsible for fitting, assembling, installing, and repairing mechanical and structural components on ships as per engineering drawings, while ensuring quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Assemble, fit, and install mechanical and structural components.
- Perform alignment, drilling, cutting, grinding, and marking.
- Carry out repair and maintenance work.
- Use hand tools and measuring instruments safely.
- Follow quality and shipyard safety procedures.
Requirements:
- ITI/Diploma in Fitter or Mechanical.
- 2–5 years of experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or heavy engineering.
- Ability to read drawings and use measuring instruments.
- Good teamwork and safety awareness.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
