Key Duties and Responsibilities:Patrolling and Surveillance:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises, both scheduled and random, to maintain a visible security presence.
- Monitor security cameras, alarms, and other surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity or security breaches.
- Inspect doors, windows, gates, and other access points to ensure they are secure at all times.
Access and Entry Control:
- Verify the identity of employees, residents, visitors, contractors, and vendors following established security procedures.
- Maintain visitor logs and issue temporary identification or passes if required.
- Prevent unauthorized entry to restricted areas and ensure compliance with security protocols.
Emergency Response and Incident Management:
- Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or safety incidents, including fire, medical emergencies, or security breaches.
- Report unusual incidents, safety hazards, or criminal activity to supervisors or relevant authorities.
- Assist in evacuations or emergency procedures as required.
Reporting and Documentation:
- Ensure all logs of patrols, visitors, and security equipment checks are accurate and up-to-date.
Customer Service and Support:
- Provide guidance and assistance to employees, visitors, and contractors while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Promote a safe and secure environment in coordination with management and colleagues.
Compliance and Safety:
- Follow organizational policies, standard operating procedures, and legal regulations regarding safety and security.
- Participate in regular training sessions, drills, and briefings to stay updated on security practices.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant security or law enforcement training is advantageous.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and during emergencies.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness to perform patrols and respond to emergency situations.
Working Conditions:
- May involve shift work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Standing, walking, and patrolling for extended periods may be required.
- Exposure to various weather conditions if guarding outdoor premises.
Reporting Structure:
- Reports to Security Supervisor or Security Manager.
- Coordinates with facility management, law enforcement, and emergency services when necessary.
Pay: From ₹18,000.00 per month
