Role Overview
The Controller of Examinations will independently plan, administer, and oversee the institution's entire examination management framework from scheduling and conduct to evaluation, results processing, and regulatory compliance. The role demands absolute process integrity, confidentiality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end examination operations including scheduling, paper setting, hall management, and invigilation coordination.
- Ensure full compliance with UGC, Anna University, AICTE, and other regulatory norms related to examinations.
- Maintain integrity, confidentiality, and anti-malpractice controls across all examination activities.
- Manage evaluation systems, mark processing, grade computation, and results publication within timelines.
- Drive implementation and adoption of digital examination management systems and ERP-based exam modules.
- Maintain accurate documentation, mark sheets, transcripts, certificates, and records management.
- Coordinate with academic departments, external examiners, and senior leadership on examination policies and reforms.
Eligibility
- PhD from a reputed university in a relevant academic discipline is mandatory.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in higher education with significant experience in examination management at a university or autonomous institution.
- Deep knowledge of university examination frameworks, regulatory compliance, and results processing workflows.
- Proficiency in computer applications and ERP platforms used for examination management.
- Strong administrative leadership, systems thinking, and team management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English written and verbal.
Key Conditions
- Candidates from West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, and North-East states will not be considered.
- Age: Up to 60 years.
- Minimum 3-year commitment in writing is mandatory at the time of joining.
