SPA THERAPIST – JOB DESCRIPTION
A Spa Therapist is responsible for providing professional wellness treatments, body massages, and relaxation therapies while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform professional wellness treatments including body massages, aromatherapy, facials, scrubs, body polishing, and other relaxation therapies.
- Welcome clients professionally, understand their preferences, recommend suitable treatments, and ensure a peaceful and comfortable experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of treatment rooms, equipment, linens, and supplies.
- Follow proper safety, sanitation, and hygiene procedures at all times.
- Manage appointments, maintain basic client records, and keep track of treatment history when required.
- Recommend suitable wellness products and treatments based on client needs.
- Assist with inventory management and ensure all treatment supplies are properly maintained.
- Stay updated on new spa techniques, treatments, and wellness products.
REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Basic schooling to 10th/12th pass. A relevant certification or diploma in spa therapy is an added advantage.
- Experience: Freshers are welcome. Prior experience in spa, wellness, hospitality, or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills: Good communication, empathy, client handling, attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving.
- Personal Attributes: Positive attitude, professional behaviour, good personal grooming, and a genuine interest in wellness and hospitality.
SALARY RANGE
₹15,000 to ₹45,000+ per month, depending on skills, experience, location, and the specific wellness centre or spa.
Pay: ₹8,827.26 - ₹45,943.46 per month
