IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL:
- Independently apply skilled workmanship through several disciplines
- Act independently to support safety, production and time sensitive engineering needs.
- Work from drawings and specifications.
- Quality of workmanship as well as quantity of production.
- Perform close and exacting bench and assembly operations to weld, fit, align, calibrate, time and finish work.
- Obey all safety rules and stop work if continuing is unsafe or will create an unsafe condition. Report all safety concerns immediately.
- Consistently use required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety standards.
- Operate welding equipment using TIG welding techniques
- Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot welding equipment
- Conduct thorough inspections of welded surfaces and assemblies using visual and dimensional checks to identify defects such as cracks, porosity, warping, or incomplete penetration; verify conformance with blueprints, tolerances, and quality standards, and document or report any nonconformities.
- Perform production welding, repairs, modifications,
- Prepare, clean, and condition parts for welding operations to ensure proper handling, maintenance, and disposal procedures are followed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the welding booth and production area

You’re comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and are eager to learn and develop your welding skills.
For This Role, You Will Need:
- Experience in welding, manufacturing, assembly, or a related production environment, or transferable skills gained through hands‑on technical work.
- Ability to read and follow work instructions, drawings, and procedures with strong attention to detail.
- Commitment to safe work practices, including the correct use of personal protective equipment and adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills to complete documentation and follow production processes.
- Experience setting up, adjusting, and maintaining welding equipment
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks, stand for extended periods, and safely handle components and tools.
- Ability to work flexible hours and overtime as production needs require
A team‑focused mindset with clear communication skills and a willingness to learn.

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
- Experience welding, assembling or refurbishing transmitters, controls, or similar mechanical products.
- Familiarity with quality assurance systems and continuous improvement practices.
- Basic Computer skills
- Preferred experience in welding background
- Technical, or process manufacturing certification, or equivalent practical experience.
Experience working in environments that emphasize safety, quality, and operational excellence.
