Job Summary:
The Station Head shall be responsible for overall management and smooth functioning of the station, ensuring operational efficiency, audience engagement, revenue growth, and alignment with organizational goals. The role includes overseeing programming, sales, marketing, content execution, team management, and maintaining high standards of performance across all station activities.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day station operations and ensure smooth execution of all activities.
- Lead and supervise programming, sales, marketing, production, and operational teams.
- Drive revenue generation and achieve business targets through strategic planning and execution.
- Monitor programming schedules and ensure quality content delivery aligned with audience preferences.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, agencies, and stakeholders.
- Ensure effective coordination among internal departments for smooth workflow and campaign execution.
- Analyze market trends, listener feedback, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
- Prepare and review performance reports, budgets, and operational plans.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and applicable regulations.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members to improve productivity and performance.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills
- Knowledge of media, radio operations, sales, and programming processes
- Ability to work under deadlines and achieve business objectives
Experience:
8-12 years of relevant experience in media, broadcasting, radio, or related industry.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
Work Location: In person
