*Job Title:* Lead – Sourcing & Procurement

Role Purpose
To lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement operations for customised machines development,
ensuring seamless availability of materials, supplier reliability, inventory optimization, and timely
execution of customer delivery schedules.
The role will drive sourcing strategy while supporting operational continuity across procurement,
planning, and inward logistics.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead sourcing and procurement of parts, assemblies, bought-out components, and critical
consumables required for machine building,
* Drive material planning based on production schedules, customer commitments, and
engineering BOM.
* New vendors development, evaluation and performance monitoring
* Build and strengthen supplier network for mechanical, electrical, electronic, and imported
components.
* Manage vendor selection, commercial negotiations, cost optimization, and delivery
performance.
* Work closely with assembly, engineering, service, and project teams to ensure uninterrupted
material flow.
* Monitor material availability against machine build schedules and proactively mitigate supply
risks.
* Manage critical shortages, alternate sourcing, and emergency procurement requirements.
* Establish sourcing processes, supplier performance metrics, and procurement governance.
* Support imported material coordination, logistics tracking, and documentation where
applicable.
* Lead continuous improvement in supply chain efficiency, cost, and lead time.
* Develop the sourcing team and create process discipline across procurement operations.

Candidate Profile
* B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics
* 10+ years of experience in sourcing and supply chain in manufacturing or assembly
operations
* Prior experience in Equipment Manufacturing, Capital equipment, industrial automation,
electronics, or machine assembly preferred
* Strong exposure to vendor development, procurement planning, and supply chain operations
* ERP/MRP system exposure preferred
