About the role:As a
Conversation Designer, you'll shape how our AI agents talk to real users. You'll own the design of voice and chat experiences end-to-end — from understanding client goals to crafting dialogue that feels natural, handles ambiguity gracefully, and drives measurable business outcomes. This role sits at the intersection of language, behaviour, and product, and your work will directly influence how millions of conversations unfold every day.
What you'll do:-
Discover requirements by partnering with PreSales and leading client discussions to translate business goals into clear conversational scope, target audience definition, and success metrics.

Design human-like, goal-oriented voice and chat conversations — covering persona, dialogue, disambiguation, error recovery, escalation, and tone.

Research client domains, industry terminology, and user behaviour to ground every flow in real context — and stay current on how the industry evolves.

Brainstorm with fellow Conversation Designers — sharing patterns, reviewing each other's flows, and raising the design bar as a team.

Optimize live agents by reviewing real interaction data, identifying gaps, and iterating continuously on flows and prompts.

Collaborate with PreSales, QA, delivery, product, and engineering teams — enabling QA with clear test scenarios and ensuring smooth handoffs from design to deployment.
What you'll bring (required):-
2-5 years of hands-on experience designing conversational flows for voice and/or chat AI agents (both is a strong plus).

Demonstrated ability to write natural, brand-aligned dialogue that doesn't sound robotic.

Working understanding of how LLMs, ASR, and TTS behave in production — including failure modes like mis-recognition, hallucination, latency, and barge-in.

Familiarity with intent mapping, entity modeling, and structuring multi-turn conversations.

Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to lead requirement-gathering discussions.

Comfort juggling multiple client projects, adapting quickly to shifting priorities, with strong attention to detail and a bias for shipping.
Nice to have:-
Prompt engineering experience for production AI agents.

Background in linguistics, UX writing, scriptwriting, journalism, or behavioural psychology.

Exposure to designing for Indian language or code-mixed conversations.

Familiarity with conversation analytics — containment rate, intent accuracy, fallback rate, CSAT.
