We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Service Manager to lead our service operations and ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction.
Position Summary
The Service Manager will be responsible for managing the company's service operations, including preventive maintenance, breakdown services, customer support, service team management, and service revenue generation. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and operational excellence to ensure efficient service delivery and customer retention.
Key Responsibilities Service Operations Management
- Oversee daily service operations, including installation support, preventive maintenance, and breakdown services.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer complaints and service requests.
- Monitor service quality and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Develop and maintain service schedules to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage service engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and identify training and development needs.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
- Address escalated customer issues and ensure satisfactory resolution.
- Conduct regular customer visits to assess service quality and identify opportunities for improvement.
Business Development & Revenue Generation
- Promote Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and service agreements.
- Identify opportunities for service revenue growth through upgrades, retrofits, and spare parts sales.
- Prepare service quotations and negotiate service contracts.
Planning & Reporting
- Track service KPIs including response time, resolution time, customer satisfaction, and service revenue.
- Prepare monthly service reports and management updates.
- Manage service budgets, expenses, and resource allocation.
Inventory & Spare Parts Management
- Coordinate with procurement and stores for spare parts availability.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted service support.
- Optimize spare parts utilization and reduce service downtime.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in HVAC, air conditioning, ventilation systems, or industrial service management.
- Proven experience managing service teams and customer relationships.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹22,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
