Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Counter Sales Executive responsible for handling walk-in customers, assisting with product selection, and ensuring a smooth sales process at the counter. The candidate should have excellent communication skills and a strong sales approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers visiting the store in a professional manner
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products
- Handle counter sales and achieve daily/monthly sales targets
- Maintain proper display and cleanliness of the counter area
- Manage billing, invoicing, and payment collection
- Provide product information, offers, and promotions to customers
- Handle customer queries and resolve complaints efficiently
- Maintain stock records and coordinate with inventory team
- Ensure proper tagging and pricing of products
- Build and maintain good customer relationships
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum 12th pass / Graduate preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in retail or counter sales
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of billing software / POS systems
- Sales-driven attitude with a customer-first approach
- Ability to work in shifts and weekends
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience in retail sectors like jewellery, garments, or electronics
- Basic knowledge of product handling and display
