The PPC Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and as per quality standards. The role involves demand forecasting, production scheduling, inventory management, and cross-functional coordination.

Develop and implement production plans based on sales forecasts and customer orders

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules

Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machines, and resources

Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as required
-
Plan raw material requirements and coordinate with procurement teams

Maintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock

Monitor slow-moving and non-moving inventory
-
Ensure timely availability of materials to meet production targets

Coordinate with Production, Purchase, Quality, Dispatch, and Sales teams

Ensure smooth workflow between departments

Communicate production status updates and constraints to stakeholders

Analyze plant capacity and prepare capacity utilization plans

Identify bottlenecks and recommend solutions

Plan for machine maintenance and downtime
-
Track key metrics such as production output, efficiency, and adherence to schedule

Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports
-
Analyze variances and implement corrective actions

Implement lean manufacturing and continuous improvement practices

Improve planning accuracy and reduce production delays

Optimize inventory turnover and reduce wastage

Ensure adherence to company policies and quality standards

Maintain proper documentation related to planning and scheduling

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Production / Industrial Management

MBA (Operations/Supply Chain) preferred

5–10 years of experience in PPC within a manufacturing setup

Experience in handling plant-level production planning

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)

Strong knowledge of MRP, inventory management, and supply chain processes

Advanced Excel skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
