Position: Electrician

Reports To: Engineering Supervisor / Chief Engineer
Job Summary
Responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems and equipment throughout the hotel to ensure safe and uninterrupted operations for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, switches, sockets, and lighting systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment according to the hotel's maintenance schedule.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, restaurants, laundry, and back-of-house facilities.
- Maintain and monitor generators, transformers, UPS systems, batteries, and electrical panels.
- Install new electrical equipment, fixtures, and wiring as required.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency breakdowns.
- Ensure proper operation of emergency lighting and fire alarm electrical systems.
- Monitor energy consumption and support energy-saving initiatives.
- Follow electrical safety standards and hotel policies at all times.
- Maintain records of maintenance work, inspections, and material usage.
- Coordinate with contractors and other engineering team members when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- ITI Electrician, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
- Valid electrical license (if required by local regulations).
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and testing equipment.
- Familiarity with generators, motors, control panels, and building electrical systems.
- Basic understanding of HVAC and building maintenance systems is an advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
