Position: Senior Finance Manager

1. JOB PURPOSE
The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's complete finance and accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective cash-flow management, statutory compliance, internal controls, budgeting, and financial planning. The role will provide financial insights and strategic support to management for informed business decision-making.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIESA. Financial Management
- Oversee the complete finance and accounting operations of the company.
- Prepare and monitor annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, fund allocation, and liquidity requirements.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, and financial performance across branches.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
- Ensure proper accounting of gold, diamond, silver, watches, and other business transactions.
B. Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Supervise day-to-day accounting activities and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely closure of accounts and reconciliation of all ledgers.
- Monitor bank, cash, customer, supplier, and inter-branch reconciliations.
- Review accounts receivable and payable and ensure proper follow-up.
- Maintain proper documentation and financial records.
C. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure timely compliance with applicable GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, Gratuity, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, statutory authorities, and other external professionals.
- Ensure timely filing of statutory returns and payment of statutory liabilities.
- Monitor changes in applicable financial and taxation regulations and ensure necessary implementation.
D. Audit & Internal Controls
- Coordinate internal, statutory, tax, and other financial audits.
- Establish and strengthen internal financial controls and procedures.
- Identify financial risks, control weaknesses, and potential areas of loss.
- Conduct periodic reviews of financial processes and recommend corrective measures.
- Ensure proper authorization and verification of financial transactions.
E. Banking & Treasury
- Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Monitor bank balances, deposits, loans, guarantees, and other banking facilities.
- Ensure efficient utilization of available funds.
- Review and authorize banking transactions within the approved authority limits.
F. Branch & Retail Finance
- Monitor financial transactions and accounting practices across all showrooms.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of showroom cash, bank collections, card transactions, UPI, and other payment modes.
- Monitor daily sales collections and deposits.
- Review stock-related financial records and coordinate with inventory and operations teams.
- Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies between branches and head office.
G. Payroll & Employee-Related Finance
- Supervise payroll processing and ensure accurate salary calculations.
- Verify statutory deductions and employee-related payments.
- Coordinate with HR regarding payroll, final settlements, gratuity, incentives, and other employee-related financial matters.
H. Management Reporting
- Prepare and present MIS reports and financial dashboards to management.
- Provide reports on sales, gross margin, expenses, cash flow, working capital, and profitability.
- Highlight significant financial variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Support management in evaluating new investments, projects, branches, and major business decisions.
3. PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
- Lead, supervise, and develop the Finance & Accounts team.
- Allocate responsibilities and monitor team performance.
- Establish clear accounting procedures and reporting standards.
- Train team members on accounting practices, compliance, and internal controls.
- Ensure timely completion of departmental responsibilities.
4. QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- CA / CMA or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting, taxation, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.
- Experience in retail, jewellery, or multi-branch business operations will be an advantage.
5. EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 2–8 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounts.
- Proven experience in a senior finance management position.
- Experience managing finance operations for a multi-branch organization is preferred.
- Experience in the jewellery/retail industry will be an added advantage.

Pay: From ₹40,000.00 per month
