Qualification:
· Degree/Diploma in Textile Technology / Production Engineering / Industrial Engineering
· MBA in Operations or Production Management (preferred)
Location: Boisar.
Experience:
· 12 –15+ years of experience in textile or cotton processing industry
· Minimum 05 years in senior production leadership role
Job Summary:
The Production Manager will be responsible for overall manufacturing operations, production planning, process optimization, quality compliance, and manpower management at the Tarapur plant. The role requires ensuring efficient production, cost control, quality assurance, and on-time delivery of cotton products while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance

Job description:
1. Production Management
· Plan, organize, and supervise end-to-end manufacturing operations including:
o Raw cotton processing
o Cleaning & bleaching operations
o Carding & sliver production
o Hydro-entangled fleece production
o Cotton pad, ball, bud, roll and pleat manufacturing
o Packaging and dispatch
· Ensure achievement of production targets, productivity and efficiency.
2. Production Planning & Control
· Prepare daily, weekly and monthly production plans based on sales orders and export schedules.
· Coordinate with procurement, quality control, maintenance, and logistics teams.
· Optimize machine utilization and manpower deployment.
3. Quality Assurance
· Ensure strict adherence to international quality standards and pharmacopeia requirements.
· Coordinate with the QA/QC department for testing and inspection of raw materials and finished goods.
· Maintain compliance with certifications such as ISO, BRC, GOTS, and BSCI.
4. Process Optimization & Cost Control
· Monitor waste reduction, yield improvement, and cost optimization.
· Improve production cycle time and operational efficiency.
5. Maintenance Coordination
· Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure preventive maintenance of machinery.
· Minimize machine downtime and breakdowns.
· Support installation, commissioning, and upgrades of new equipment.
6. Manpower Management
· Manage production teams including supervisors, operators, and workers.
· Ensure proper shift management and workforce productivity.
7. Safety & Compliance
· Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards and environmental regulations.
· Maintain safe working conditions within the manufacturing facility.
· Lead internal audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
8. Coordination & Reporting
· Coordinate with sales, procurement, logistics, and management teams for smooth operations.
· Prepare and present production MIS reports, KPI reports, and performance analysis to senior management.

· Reports to: General Manager – Operations
· Supervises: Production Managers, Shift In-Charges, Supervisors, and Operators
Pay: ₹1,200,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
