StoryBoats is looking for an Art Director/Visualizer.
Not someone who can "make it look nice."
Someone who knows why it should look the way it does.
At StoryBoats, we believe design isn't the final layer. It's part of the strategy. Every colour, layout, type choice, and visual decision should have a reason behind it.
We're looking for an Art Director who thinks before they open Adobe. Someone who's fast without being careless. Someone who can take an idea from a rough thought to a polished execution and explain every decision they made along the way.
What you'll do
- Translate brand strategy into strong visual systems and campaigns.
- Conceptualise and execute branding, social media, packaging, presentations, websites and marketing collateral.
- Work closely with copywriters, strategists, and clients to bring ideas to life.
- Lead visual direction across multiple brands and industries.
- Present work confidently and articulate the thinking behind your design decisions.
- Push for better work—not just faster work.
- Maintain consistency across every touchpoint while knowing when to break the rules.
We're looking for someone who...
- Thinks before they design.
- Have prior agency experience, or can juggle between multiple clients without losing quality.
- Can defend their work with logic, strategy, and intent.
- Understands branding beyond logos and moodboards.
- Pays attention to typography, spacing, hierarchy and the details most people miss.
- Welcomes feedback without losing conviction.
- Is curious enough to ask "why?" before jumping into execution.
Tools you'll need
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe After Effects (a strong plus)
- Adobe Premiere Pro (good to have)
- PowerPoint (yes, presentation design matters)
Bonus points if you...
- Have experience building brands from scratch.
- Can think in campaigns, not just creatives.
- Keep up with design trends without becoming a slave to them.
- Enjoy collaborating with writers and strategists to make the work stronger.
If your portfolio is full of pretty designs, this role probably isn't for you.

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
